The effectiveness of any business is demonstrated by results it achieves.

Read some examples of Lynchpin Advocacy’s work.

Engagement for Influence

A successful Australian-owned business, with locations across major capital cities and a staff of 200, wanted to promote its products to Government. The first step was to raise awareness of the products and services it offered and then to build support among other stakeholders for a trial to be initiated. This involved developing a multi-layered approach: a submission to a parliamentary inquiry, generating tailored information materials for stakeholders and meetings, and advocacy work to promote the benefits of the trial to the agricultural sector with flow-on benefits to the broader Australian economy.
The agenda is gaining traction, with positive outcomes expected.

Safe Pair of Hands

A senior executive was taking leave and needed a stand-in to steer the business while they were away. Following a handover period, Lynchpin Advocacy set up and delivered a comprehensive program of meetings with Ministers, MPs and Senators across the political divide. This involved developing briefing notes, policy documents and media releases and ensuring that key messages were delivered and followed-up according to an agreed implementation timeframe.
The client was so delighted when they returned that they have engaged Lynchpin Advocacy for further advocacy work this calendar year.

Supporting Strategic Engagement

A national industry association wanted to set up meetings at late notice with their stakeholders in Canberra. They called Lynchpin Advocacy who developed meeting preparation notes, meeting invitation emails for the client to send to targeted stakeholders and a structured a timetable of productive meetings with government and other stakeholders. Lynchpin also identified a number of additional important stakeholders for engagement which had not been on the client’s radar up to that point. The Canberra visit led to a greater awareness of the client’s issues and concerns and built alliances with other organisations.
Engagement is ongoing.

Impactful Words

A client in the health space wanted to promote their national awareness day to amplify their messages to patients, carers and potential donors as well as political decision-makers. They asked Lynchpin Advocacy to assist by writing a media alert, a press release, social media posts and to organise follow up media interviews with the Chair of their Board.
This was backed up by a function at Parliament House which was well-attended and received further mainstream and trade media coverage.
